Exciting permanent job for a Class 1 Driver in Bristol, Avonmouth.The RoleWorking for a busy transport company based in Avonmouth, driving a Wag and Drag double box trailer. Working nights starting at 17:00 and normally finished by 04:00. An easy trunk run to Kent, trailer swap and return to Bristol. This is a permanent position once a 12 week probation has been completed. Shifts are Monday to Friday with some optional overtime at weekends.The clientOut client offer a palletised delivery service and operate within 15 European countries, they have a huge fleet of over 20,000 vehicles within the group. They are now expanding and looking for a HGV1 Driver to join the team working full time. They are based in Avonmouth and have onsite parking, staff room and locker facilities.Hours & Pay:The start time will be 17:00 and you will normally work 55 hours a week, Monday to Friday. This is weekly paid every Wednesday and you can accrue holiday pay.You will be given 24/7 access to our online system where you can access timesheets, update your availability and work preferences. Payslips will be issued by email and we offer a contributory pension scheme.You will require:CE entitlement on your licence, with a minimum 2 years experience.Previous experience driving a Draw Bar vehicle or Wag and Drag.Valid Digital tacho & CPC Card.No more than 6 points on licence.Safety Boots & Hi Viz.Work together, we’re better connected.
