Job Description

Learning Support Assistant- 1:1 SupportYew Tree Primary SchoolSeptember 2023 startJob description-We are currently looking to recruit and passionate, strong and experienced Learning Support Assistant to jo0in the team within Yew Tree 3 special educational need resource basis onsite and joint to the mainstream school. These 3 classes support a range ofadditional needs from ASD to SEMH to PMLD.The role is commencing September 2023 and is Monday-Friday 8:30-3:30 during term term only.This role is long term with no end date in mind and is joining an already team and Teachers and LSAs within the classroom.No two days will be the same making for a very interesting and rewarding job opportunity for the right candidate.Requirements-

  • Musthave experience supporting Children or Young Adults with addiotnal needs either mental or physical.
  • Experienced techniques and strategies to behaviour management.
  • Always ensuring safeguarding is kept to a high standard.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
  • To be calm, collected and ability to work well under pressure.
