Job Description

Shift: Mon - Friday (6am - 14:00pm)(14:00pm - 22:00pm)Due to continued growth I’am currently recruiting for a Deep Hole Borer to work with a well established engineering company based near Halesowen. As Deep Hole Borer you will be responsible for ensuring quality engineering of components using relevant procedures and methods.Commutable from: Stourbridge, Breierly Hill, Halesowen, West Bromwich, Wednesbury, Walsall, Wolverhampton Duties:

  • Producing parts as required to specifications and drawings
  • Setting and Operating Deep Hole Borers
  • Small amount of cnc programming however training can be provided
  • Deburring components
  • Maintaining machinery, swarf removal, routine oiling and greasing etc
  • Working to tight tolerances
  • Producing high volume batch work
    • The successful candidate for the Deep Hole Borers position will have the following experience:
  • Previous experience as a Conventional Machinist (Essential)
  • Must have at least two years experience working as a Deep Hole Borer (Essential)
  • Experience of using hand held measuring equipment (Essential)
