Job Description

A Business Improvement Manager (Black Belt) position has just become available, within a well-established manufacturing business. Located near the Birmingham area, this company is looking for a professional that can help deliver end to end operations excellence, helping to build an even more efficient and profitable work place.If successful, youll gain a competitive salary and overall package.   • Deliver large scale business improvement projects, influencing stakeholders at Exec level.
  • Use the relevant Quality tools to analyse current processes on-site and drive continuous improvements.
  • Ensure that the required quality, time frames and budgets are adhered to.
  • Use software such as Minitab and Microsoft Project to monitor data and provide full traceability.
  • Mentor staff with the use of problem solving tools and lean techniques.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to identify potential risks and identify areas of improvement.
    • We would love to hear from you if youve had experience in the following -
  • Delivering Black Belt Sigma projects, within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to use and demonstrate the use of Quality tools such as RCA, 5S, 5Y, Ishikawa, SPC.
  • Ability to use software such as Excel and Minitab to a good level.
  • Engineering, or relevant education within a technical division (Six Sigma Black Belt Level).
