Job Description

Senior Auditor required to join our client an Accountancy Practice located in Halesowen on a full time, permanent basis.As an Audit Senior you will play a key role in the audit process, actively engaging with clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of their business operations. You will be responsible for planning, executing, identifying risk areas, and finalising allaspects of audit assignments under the supervision of managers and partners. In addition to your auditing responsibilities, you will be involved in the preparation of financial statements and corporation tax computations for review by the tax department.The job will involve:

  • Actively engage with clients to obtain a thorough understanding of their business operations.
  • Plan, execute, and finalise all areas of audit assignments under the supervision of managers/partners.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements.
  • Develop and review corporation tax computations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and facilitating the review process by the tax department.
  • Assist junior team members, providing guidance, and ensuring that audit objectives are met.
  • Ensure strict compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Fully expense all out-of-office assignments to ensure seamless and efficient work processes.
