Registered Manager - Children & Young PeopleSalary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annumHours: 40 hours per week + some on call dutiesOur client is based is a brand-new Childrens home in Glossop and they are seeking a Residential Manager who has previous experience working in a residential setting and shares our commitment to creating a positive and safe living environment. The ResidentialManager will be responsible for the supervision of all staff on the site, including activities such as employee scheduling, training, personal development and more. Duties will include but not limited too:* Ensuring that each young person has a plan which reflects his / her care, education, social, emotional, cultural, therapeutic and health needs and that this plan is regularly reviewed. * Allocating a Key Worker for each young person with the principal responsibility of implementing the childcare plan. * Establishing and monitoring high quality standards of care in line with National Minimum Standards and the Homes Statement of Purpose and developing quality assurance measures to ensure these standards are maintained.* Developing systems in which young people are consulted about the quality of care they receive. * Taking responsibility for progressing any complaints or child protection concerns * Working in partnership with parents, carers and other professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of young people The successful candidate will hold and maintain their own OFSTED registration and ensure the service meets OFSTED standards. To be up to date with relevant legislation and residential care home regulations and standards and to meet the requirements.
