Right now, we are now looking for a talented Independent Non-Medial Prescriber Nurse (NMP) or Pharmacist Prescriber to work within our community-based substance use services in the Cityof London and Hackney.The service is delivered in partnership with Mind CHWF and London Friend and there is a focus on partnership working throughout the service to support those in the local community who need assistance to achieve their goals. So if you’re ambitious and ready for a freshchallenge with a sector leader then this could be the opportunity for you.Role ResponsibilityAs a community based Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) or Pharmacist Prescriber in a busy prescribing service, you will be involved with opiate substitute treatment, alcohol and opiate detoxifications and relapse prevention medications. As part of the widerWellbeing Team you will also provide support to the nursing team providing Blood Borne Virus screening and vaccinations and will work closely with mental health, physical health and social care services. Youll also help to create a collaborative approachthat links Turning Point ever closer to outside professionals and agencies.The Ideal CandidateWe are seeking a qualified Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) or Pharmacist Prescriber that will join an established team in City and Hackney, you will need to be an excellent communicator, youll have the ability to develop support packages that are creative,flexible and tailored to the needs of each individual.
