Job Description

Agora Talent are partnering with an International F&B Brand on a search for an Interim UK Finance Manager. They launched in the UK market in 2010 and now operate three restaurants/cafes in London; alongside the growing wholesale portion of the business, supplying speciality coffee to a network of independent cafés all around the UK and Europe from their roastery in London.This role will be the lead finance role for the UK & European business, managing one direct report and taking responsibility for all financial and management accounting, as well as supporting the leadership team with more commercial and operational areas. It is for a period of upto 4 months and will be handing over to the permenant starter later this year.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective relationships with other International finance teams, CEO, CFO; Owners/Directors and Leadership team, working across time zones.
  • Preparation and analysis of all management and statutory accounts for the UK; providing key insights on all regional matters to the GM and preparing quarterly packs for the Global HQ.
  • Bring commercial insight to the business - Local & Global KPIs, monthly Sales Dashboards etc. Leading the education of Operational teams to broaden their understanding of financial impacts of decisions they make.
  • Provide weekly Cashflow forecast reports; oversee all banking and debt activities.
  • Co-ordinate and process monthly payroll
  • Develop and manage the Finance Assistant.
  • Provide financial analysis, research, financial insight and business acumen to support the UK General Manager grow and expand Regional UK & Europe markets.
  • Co-ordinate the annual budget process an all forecasting processes
  • Deal with day-to-day matters regarding audit, tax and financial reporting matters
  • Participate and/or lead key business projects using effective and efficient project management skills.

  • A Qualified Finance Professional (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent), will consider QBE
  • Experience working within a small-medium sized entity/business
  • You will have strong communication and problem-solving skills; and be comfortable managing the end to end finance processes within a small business.
  • Planning capability and effective time management; highly capable in analytical thinking and attention to detail.
