They have continued to grow during the pandemic, investing in new machinery to help cope with demand.This role offers a high degree of autonomy and exceptional career progression for the right individual.Reporting into the Director your duties as Manufacturing Manager will include -

• Day to day running of a modern moulding facility, ensuring orders are completed to time, quality and budget constraints.
• Managing staff across all functions within Production.
• Providing technical expertise within plastic injection moulding, taking a hands-on approach when required.
• Identifying and implementing Lean / CI initiatives, always looking for opportunities to better the business.
• Management of KPIs, providing regular reports to the Senior Management Team.

To be successful in the role of Manufacturing Manager the ideal candidate will -

• Have a strong background within injection moulding, with an excellent understanding of the injection moulding process.
• Be experienced in running a busy mouldshop with automation/robots, managing teams of over 20 staff.
• Have a solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing, with a proven track record of implementing improvements.
• Be conversant of using SAP/ERP systems
• Candidates suitable for the role will already hold, or have held the job title of Mouldshop Manager, Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager, Process Engineering Manager or Works Manager, and have the ambition to want to move furtherup the career ladder.
