Job Description

Welcome to an exciting opportunity at Newland Insurance! As a Telemarketer, youll be at the forefront of our dynamic team, promoting our innovative schools insurance product.With a view to a permanent role following the 3-month FTC, this excellent opportunity comes with a generous salary of £12.50 per hour.TelemarketerLeeds, LS19/20

Please Note: Applicants must be authorised to work in the UKSince 1996, Newland Insurance Brokers have provided specialist insurance products and services to both the commercial and personal lines market.Newlands offices are located in Bradford, West Yorkshire,and have a special focus on supporting small to mediumsized local businesses.The Telemarketer Role:Join our team, promoting our new schools insurance product. Youll play a crucial role in contacting schools, arranging meetings, and driving sales. Be part of a dynamic environment that values proactive salesmanship and excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities:
  • Make outbound calls to schools, promoting core insurance products
  • Maintain product knowledge for effective sales comparisons
  • Manage a database of opportunities and follow up on leads
  • Accurately update customer databases and handle queries
  • Utilise Excel for information logging and documentation
About You:Were looking for a motivated Telemarketer with:
  • Proven experience in telemarketing or similar sales roles
  • Track record of meeting telephone sales targets
  • Knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g., CRM software, Microsoft Office)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Self-motivated and well-organised
  • Resilient in the face of customer objections
  • Approachable, outgoing, and diplomatic
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team
