A dynamic and progressive business are looking to appoint a Reporting Management Accountant which is a newly created position to work between both the IT and Finance departments. This position is a completely unique opportunity in the market that will suit someone that wants unlimited career progression.Reference: HT13357About The Role - Reporting Management AccountantReporting into a Chief Technical Director you will initially be responsible for working with both the IT and Finance functions. You will be responsible for developing the ERP system to build upon the financial reporting framework on behalf of the Senior Management Team. You will be working on the development of a fully functioning self-service BI infrastructure that will suit the needs of this Global Business.You will be ultimately responsible for the reporting, ensuring that it suits the needs of the business, ensuring that the MI is accurate and robust. The business will rely upon this MI to aid business decisions on growth, strategy and vision.You will work as a lynchpin between the Management Accounts function, IT and wider business audience and as such will be responsible for challenging the accounts teams on the accuracy of the monthly reporting pack.This position will suit someone that has developed or implemented finance BI reporting tools in the past and has a natural passion and desire for this type of work. You will have gained a strong technical background and therefore should have worked with Pivot Tables, SQL queries, OLAP Cubes and Power BI.You will be working with senior stakeholders of the business such as the CFO and UK GM and as such will be required to present findings to these types of audiences.Currently the role will be mostly working remotely but you will be required to travel on the basis that this is a Global, once the restrictions have been lifted.Alongside the development of the ERP and reporting process you will also own the UK budgeting process, including quarterly forecasts, supporting the GM in what-if scenario planning.Without question this is a position for someone that is looking for an upward protectory in career.
