Job Description

Job Title: School Reprographics/Admin/ReceptionHours: 8.00am - 4.00pm (Mon-Thur) and 8.00am - 3.30pm (Fri)Duration: Immediate January start - Initially to Feb half-term with possibility of extensionOur Secondary School client in Grimsby is looking for a School Administrative Assistant to join their team. This is a key role within the school, providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the school office.Key Responsibilities:

  • Occasional operating of a busy Student Reception, assisting pupils with queries and requests
  • Overseeing all reprographics requests (inc. copying/binding etc.) for the academy
  • Any general basic admin duties required
  • Collecting and escorting parents/visitors etc. to and from the gates and escorting them to locations around site as necessary.
  • Locating pupils around the school site when necessary
  • Assisting with academy event/reward set up/prize preparation
Essential equirements:
  • MUST HAVE A FULLY ENHANCED DBS ON THE UPDATE SERVICE
  • Experience in a similar administrative role, ideally within a school environment
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of people
  • Ability to work to tight timescales
  • Excellent IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • A positive and friendly attitude, with the ability to work well as part of a team and build positive relationships with colleagues, parents and visitors
  • Ability to work from own initiative and as part of a team
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
