We are constantly evolving so there is always something new just around the corner!The Master Technician Opportunity:As a Master Technician, you’ll be confident leading diverse teams of people, developing solutions, and following procedures whilst teaching innovative skills and techniques. As a Toyota Master Technician, you’ll be interested in working for the largest automotivemanufacturer in the world. Working for John Roe, you’ll be proud to represent Toyota, and you’ll be able to thrive in an exciting environment where your role as Master Tech will be vital to the Centre’s success.We are committed to building a diverse workforce and culture - everyone is welcome.What a day-to-day might look like:+ Carrying out vehicle services and repairs+ Examining vehicles and diagnosing non-routine defects+ Report defects against Department of Environment (MOT) and Vehicle Safety Report (VSR) standards+ Carrying out jobs within budgeted time, maintain your team’s productivity+ Taking responsibility for daily maintenance of tools and equipment, reporting any defects+ Working in accordance with key Toyota or Centre processes+ Liaising with customers directly where relevant and appropriate, listening carefully to build rapport and answering questions in a warm and professional manner to summarise details of work required or carried out+ Coaching and supporting technicians, explaining, guiding and enabling others to learn+ Attending specialised training as required+ Guiding the Centre’s team, working with colleagues to provide a seamless and outstanding service to customersAbout you:+ A full UK driving licence+ Eligibility to work in the UK+ Flexible to work hours required to carry out the role effectively and travel (to the training sessions)+ Minimum of NVQ Level 3 in light vehicle maintenance (or comparable)+ Previous work experience within an automotive repair environment is preferableReady to join the largest car company in the worldSince Toyotas foundation, we have acted in accordance with our Guiding Principles to produce reliable vehicles and the sustainable development of society through ever-changing innovation and the provision of high-quality products and services.Toyota will lead the future mobility society, enriching lives around the world with the safest and most responsible ways of moving people.
