Job Description

International Export Groupage Planner – Grimsby – To £28,000Chase and Holland are delighted to be assisting a large logistics business who are looking to expand its team with a dynamicInternational Export Groupage Planner.This is an opportunity to secure a position with a highly successful businessthat has continued to celebrate success and build a powerful reputation in its industry.If you are looking to start a career in Shipping and Logistics, then this could be the perfect role for you.Package & Benefits:

International Export Groupage Planner responsibilities:
  • Groupage planning of export cargo / trailers
  • Working with offices abroad and within the UK
  • Advising warehouse of loading requirements
  • Book export trailers on departing ferries
  • Ensure Customs requirements are completed so trailers can depart on above ferries
Required Skills & Experience:
  • A high level of organisation and attention to detail
  • Experience of part load / groupage operations desirable
  • Customer focussed with the determination and willingness to deliver an excellent level of service
  • Good decision-making skills, able to evaluate, prioritise and plan while responding to quickly changing workloads
  • A methodical, logical approach with good problem-solving abilities, able to work on their own initiative within a time critical setting and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of export customs and hazardous cargo is desirable
  • IT literate – We have a new IT system coming end of Sept
