Data Input Administrator - Design DepartmentGrimethorpe BarnsleyContact Halo Personnel for Salary and Bonus Information!About the Company:Our client is the largest privately-owned manufacturer of fitted kitchen, bedroom and bathroom furniture in the UK; the organisation has been in operation for almost 50 years and is experiencing continued growth year on year.They haveand continue to be successful in winning various tenders to supply fitted kitchens for the on-going refurbishment of Council owned properties, holding 50% of the market share, and also for New Build Social Housing projects throughout the country; as well as this they offer provision of the same services to major private’ home builders such as: Taylor Wimpey, Redrow, Barretts & Galliford Try, where they supply 1 in 3 kitchens in every new build property across the country.About the Role:You will be supporting the design team with administrative duties, mainly focussing on data input/transferring data as well as managing internal and external queries both on the phone and over email. In order to fulfil the role of Data Input Administrator you will need to have experience working in a fast-paced administrative role, ideally within data input and have an excellent telephone manner, be computer literate and be capable of working under pressure to meet strict deadlines. You must also have excellent organisational, written and numerical skills and be a good timekeeper that can manage their own workload effectively. Having a natural attention to detail and a methodical approach to work with a desire to always deliver accuracy will ensure you fully excel in this role and achieve your bonuses!Duties and Responsibilities

  • Taking job schedules from the Design team
  • Transferring data from the CAD Software onto the in-house database to produce quotations
  • Liaising with designers/planners within the department
  • Liaising with customers and company representatives via phone and email
  • Keeping up to date with new procedures and products
  • Requirements to Fulfil the Role:
  • No experience of CAD software is required, however a background in an Administrative role is essential

  • The bonus is achieved through accuracy and attendance
  • Flexible working hours after 3 months service
  • 30 days holiday per year including 8 statutory bank holidays increasing to 33 days after 6 years employment
  • Hours of work Mon-Thurs 08:30-17:00 (45 minutes lunch) Fri- 08:30 -16:00 (1 hour lunch)
