They are currently seeking the very best people, to further strengthen their position within the industry by appointing dedicated individuals to share in their success.About the Data & BI Developer role:They are now seeking to appoint a talented Business Intelligence Developer with good commercial experience of SQL Server Integration Services to maintain our existing platforms and develop additional solutions. The Data & BI Developer will be part of an agile Data and BI team responsible for all SQL Server and ETL processes within Business Intelligence, Development and Infrastructure. The core of this role will be in the creation and management of data warehousing solutions.Key responsibilities of their Data & BI Developer:- Design, develop and maintain our data warehouse- Working with key stakeholders to identify areas of poor or inconsistent data, then develop and implement solutions- Transform data from a variety of data sources into SQL Server- Work closely with the business to ensure compliance to the GDPR legislationWhat they are looking for in their Data & BI Developer:- Proven commercial experience within a similar role- Commercial experience of MS SQL Server Reporting Services and MS SQL Server Integrated Services (Ideally 2016 +)- Experience of working with a complex data architecture (e.g. SQL Server, PostgreSQL databases)- Experience in DAX, MDX, OLAP, R, Power BI, Microsoft SQL Server Data Tools- Knowledge of source control GIT, VSS etc- Commercial experience working within a Data Management/Business Intelligence team- Experience working with SQL Data Warehouses- Demonstrable experience in building reports and dashboards from code to output- Demonstrable experience working with SQL Server for data extraction- Demonstrable experience of translating and loading data from a variety of data sources- Excellent problem-solving and analysis skills- Excellent communication skills at all levels- Ability to manage own work- Produce ad-hoc assigned analyses to a high level of accuracy and within a timeframe acceptable to the recipient- Experience of producing insightful analysis from disparate data sources- A self-motivated team player, able to work on own initiative and be proactive- Able to manage time effectively and prioritise own workload- Able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust priorities as required- A good communicator capable of using data to influencing senior management to drive issue resolutionSo, if this sounds like the perfect opportunity for you and you’d like to become our client’s new Data & BI Developer then please click ‘apply’ today – don’t miss out, they’d love to hear from you!
