Job Description

First Achieves Engineering Department are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a market leading company in the North side of Glasgow. You will be joining a large Maintenance Team & there is exceptional training on offer in this very unique, butglobal business!The company we are working in partnership with have a fantastic facility in the North Side of Glasgow, and has benefitted from multi-million-pound investment in recent years.   • £40,000 - £44,000 Salary (Including Shift Allowance)
  • 12-hour rotating shift pattern - further details can be provided.

Productivity
  • Responsible for carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs effectively and safely to improve tool availability and maximise cycle time
  • Collaborating with wider teams to ensure schedules are robust and improve tool performance in the long term.
  • Will have a professional approach to online priorities, working with Shift Manager and Equipment Engineering as required.
  • During the process of carrying out PMs you are responsible for to reduce the number of fails and improve the tool availability.
  • Able to demonstrate good problem-solving methodology to correct and prevent equipment faults, e.g. knowledge of Why-Why Analysis, Difference Analysis, etc.
Maintenance Experience Required:
  • Familiarity with Safety systems such as LOTO, Risk Assessment, COSHH etc.
  • AC & DC Systems - UPS Systems, Latch Circuits, Circuit Boards, Supply and Power Dist. Etc
  • Technical Report Writing & Verbal communication Skills for Handover
  • Experience with PLC Control Systems & Robotic Systems.
  • High Voltage DC Systems is highly advantageous.
  • 1, 3 & 6 phase motor experience.
  • Electrical & Mechanical Experience is preferred.
