Are you a talented creative designer who has a real passion for working with global brands and is looking to take your creative career to the next levelCharta Recruitment are partnered with a £20m multi-disciplined brand and packaging consultancy; who partner with global brands and retailers to deliver innovative and creative branding solutions. This dynamic company is currently experiencing year-on-yeargrowth and boasts a range of fantastic clients such as Walmart, Aldi, Russell Hobbs and many more.Due to the growth of this business, they are seeking a talented Creative Designer to join their creative team to work on a rich mix of branding and packaging creative projects for loved global brands and world class retailers.You will provide creative design solutions for a wide range of exciting product and branded offers. Furthermore, you will lead the concept creation on a selection of projects and help deliver others as part of a wider team. You will deliver from initialconcept right through to final design solutions and illustrations, ensuring brand/product/category guidelines are adhered to at all times.In this role, you will enjoy all of the benefits of hybrid working as well as the opportunity to further carve out your career within creative design, gaining further exposure to major FMCG global brands and cultivating a progression path to a Senior Designerrole or Senior Design Head over the next 5 years.Your Role & Responsibilities - Creative Designer
  • Hybrid working, you will typically spend 2 days per week at the design studio (based in Bradford) and 3 days per week working from home.
  • Manage multiple branding and packaging projects/artworks simultaneously to help manage workflow and meet deadlines across food, health and beauty categories.
  • Present FMCG creative design concepts with confidence to deliver their full impact.
  • Ensure the creation of your design work/files meet the criteria set by the creative team.
  • Actively participate at the briefing stages to develop accurate interpretations of the client briefs.
  • Run small projects on an independent basis (albeit liaising with others in the creative team) to support the account management team.
  • Establish close working relationships with key contacts for your role.
  • Proactively exploring new and innovative presentation techniques for new media and product retailing.
  • Demonstrate willingness to develop ability to concept and design for online channels including an understanding of UX, personalisation best practices.
  • Demonstrate willingness to develop ability to establish and deliver photo briefs for categories or product sections/stories.
Your Background - Creative Designer
  • You must have at least 5 years of creative design experience.
  • You will possess an impressive portfolio that demonstrates excellence in graphic design, typography, a great eye for illustration and a breadth of FMCG packaging design & delivery, as well as experience of brand evaluation & brand building which are keyto this role.
  • You must have in-depth knowledge of Apple MAC technology as well as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign.
  • You have an understanding of FMCG brands including categories, retail packaging, POS, NPD and trends.
  • You have a proven track record of developing FMCG concepts from inception to completion (as shown in your portfolio).
  • You have the ability to conduct briefs and present concepts to key internal/external stakeholders.
  • You have a strong understanding of print, digital and materials.
  • Degree level in Graphic Design is desirable, but not essential if you have proven design industry experience.

  • £35,000 - £40,000 base salary per annum
