Job Description

Support Workers Greenford £21,156Are you an experienced support worker, looking for a change of environment, or a chance to learn something new I have a fantastic opportunity to join a leading organisation providing support to adults with learning disabilities and associated needs. You will support adults with a wide range of needs including those with learning disabilities and autism, as well as some with some mobility needs. You will support individuals to be as independent as possible. Some may require some support with all daily tasksincluding help with dressing, washing, mealtimes, and intimate personal care. You will also be supporting individuals to enjoy life to the full, supporting them to engage in a range of outings and fun activities. You will work with an understanding and supportive management team, who will ensure that your days are varied, and you will be supported to achieve your ambitions. You will also have the chance to work towards NVQs in Health and Social Care, and you will haveplenty of opportunity to grow and develop in your role within the organisation, including the potential for development into more senior roles. To be considered you will be:

  • Able to work flexibly to a shift rota which will include shifts between the hours of 7am - 11pm, and alternate weekends
  • Able and willing to carry out moving and positioning
  • Happy to carry out personal care
  • Previous experience in a care or support role
