Job Description

SPEECH AND LANGUAGE TEACHING ASSISTANT Looking for a fulfilling, new job opportunity Do you want to help enhance students learning and development Areyou able to work 1:1 for the special needs department Yes Then we have an opportunity for you...Job role: Speech and Language Teaching AssistantHours: MondayFriday (8:30am3:00pm)Location: London Borough of EalingWage: £80 - £90 per day (DOE)Your duties will include but not limited to:

  • Supporting children who have speech and language difficulties
  • Group intervention sessions
  • 1:1 sessiondevelopment of speech and language
  • Scribing (on occasion)
Ideal candidate:
  • Passionate, SEN learning support staff who can implement new and innovative approach to learning
  • 1:1 and group-based learning sessions
  • Able to work closely with students and communicate progress to parents/ carers -(EHCP)
  • Committed to the school, students and to your role as a SEN TA
  • Have a clear understand of what the role entails
Requirements:
  • No prior experience needed
  • Safeguarding course
  • Minimum C (4/5 equivalent) Grade Maths and English
  • Grads studying psychology, sociology, health & social care are also encouraged.
