Job Description

Job Description We currently have an exciting opportunity for a nursery manager to work in a small Montessori day nursery based in Greenford, Middlesex area. This Setting follows the Montessori and EYFS ethos that holds up to 16 children with age groups 1Years to 5yearsand is term time.We are looking for an enthusiastic motivated individual to be a nursery manager to work as part of the management team providing professional leadership and management.Person Specification

  • A manager that has experience of running at least a 20-place nursery with minimum Ofsted Good rated
  • Have at least two recent years experience at once setting as a manager or be an experienced nursery deputy manager
  • Live within a 30-minute commute
  • The successful candidate must have a proven track record in Nursery Management and with strong leadership skills
  • Be qualified minimum Level 3 in Childcare or Montessori or QTS qualifed
Job Description
  • To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
  • To effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff and retention, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff
  • To ensure all policies, procedures and curriculums are always implemented and adhered to
  • To keep abreast of current early childhood thinking/trends
  • To effectively manage the budgets and occupancy levels
  • To implement an effective parent liaison program, to be influential in developing strong links with parents
  • To manage all day-to-day operations of the nursery
  • Working Term-Time, Mon to Friday 8am to 5:30pm (Hours can be negotiated)
  • Salary - £25,000 to £30,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
