Placement Services are recruiting on behalf of our client who is an organic wholesale business for shops and restaurants within Central and Greater London. The business started in 2007 and the founder is still an active part within the business. We now employ around 100+ people including warehouse pickers and packers, drivers and head office staff.Our client has experienced enormous growth over the past 3 years boosted most recently by the COVID-19 pandemic which has had a radical impact on their sector and strengthened their position and brand significantly.Ideally, you will have experience in the food and drinks sector, and a strong understanding of sustainability, global trends and a passion for brands that can make a difference.They are now looking for a junior buyer to assist with and report into the Senior Buyer. Attention to detail, a commercial mind and the ability to make quick decisions based on fact are attributes that are critical for this role. Working with the Buyer, you will responsible for accurate and timely stock management of their brands (chilled and ambient). You will also be responsible for the cleaning, service/ office supplies which are critical to the success of the business.Salary up to £30,000Roles & Responsibilities of the Junior Buyer:
