Job Description

Welder / Fabricator who has proven experience in welding and fabricating carbon and/or stainless steel is required for a well-established, precision engineering company based in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.SALARY: Competitive Salary + BenefitsBENEFITS: 23 days annual holiday allowance plus Bank Holidays, birthday leave, stakeholder pension scheme, occupational health screening programme, good working environmentLOCATION: Great Yarmouth, NorfolkJOB TYPE: Full-Time, PermanentWORKING HOURS: Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm, Friday 7.00am - 2.30pm, overtime and weekend work available** Multiple Jobs Available **JOB OVERVIEWWe have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Welder / Fabricatorwho has proven experience in welding and fabricating carbon and/or stainless steel.As the Welder / Fabricator you will be required to work from engineering drawings.The Welder / Fabricator may occasionally be required to assist with mechanical installation works at various client sites, including nuclear power stations and food manufacturing facilities.APPLY TODAYIf this job looks like your ideal position, then please send in your CV as soon as possible for our Recruitment Team to review.CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSThe Welder / Fabricator will have:

  • Proven experience in fabrication and welding of carbon steel and/or stainless steel
  • Have the ability to read and interpret technical engineering fabrication drawings
  • Coded in TIG/MIG is desirable but not essential
  • Be highly motivated, flexible, responsive to change and calm under pressure
  • Be proactive, methodical and communicative whilst working in a fast-paced working environment
