Job Description

Our Client is a very successful pharmaceutical manufacturing company. They are now seeking a Quality Control Analyst for their QC Department. This position is a fixed term contract for a minimum of six months and will report to the Quality Control Manager. The position will based in Great Yarmouth.Job Purpose

  • To assist with the quality control of raw materials, bulk and finished products
  • To perform general laboratory work and duties as required
  • Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Carry out the Quality Control of raw materials, bulk and finished products in accordance with monographs and / or test requirement documents as relevant
  • Take equal part in the overall running of the laboratory, including equipment, maintenance, calibration of apparatus and other general duties
  • Ensure QC raw material / packaging component sampling / testing activities are scheduled to meet production requirements in line with the production plan and outstanding orders report
  • Carry out Environmental Sampling as required
  • Be trained, and adhere to all procedures associated with Quality, GMP, and hygiene within the job
  • Ensure the sampling booth is well maintained and clean at all times
  • Pharmaready Documents are to be read / read verified on a timely basis
  • Qualifications / Experience
  • Degree (or equivalent) in appropriate scientific discipline
  • Some experience of working in a QC Laboratory
  • Previous pharmaceutical manufacturing environment experience is desirable
  • Experience and knowledge of GLP (Good Laboratory Practice)
  • Experience of HPLC/GC, autotitrators, rheometric analysis, IR spectrometry, general wet chemistry techniques and microbiological monitoring is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills
