PractitionerYouCanBe Great YarmouthStarting salary £21,498 pro rata per annum21 hours per week12-month contract, with possibility of extensionYouCanBe provides intensive and goal-oriented support to young women with highly complex needs to improve their ability to think critically and choose healthy relationships. As Practitioner you do this by taking a relational approach that centres around the needs of each young person.You will work with a high level of independence and self-direction, managing the subtleties of professional boundaries and confidently using a flexible approach where work with different young people can go in a range of directions and last for varying lengths of time.Ultimately, your work will enable young people who have experienced traumatic childhoods to make meaningful change and reduce unintended pregnancies.By joining the service, you will be at the forefront of the exciting expansion of YouCanBe into Norfolk, with the service having been successfully piloted in Suffolk over the last two years.It is essential that you able to travel within the area and have considerable experience of working intensively with young people with highly complex needs and collaborating on complex safeguarding cases.For an application pack and to apply please visit our website.Closing date: 9am, Tuesday 6th April 2021Ormiston Families is committed to safeguarding.
