Job Description

Due to ongoing success, we are currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join us at Shaw Pipeline Services (SPS), a division of Shawcor providing pipeline weld inspection services to the oil & gas industry. Established in 1990 to deliver Automated Ultrasonic Inspection (AUT), later developing our own inhouse real time Radiography (RTR), SPS is regarded as a global leader in the non-destructive testing field.Based at our Great Yarmouth site, you will be managing the equipment deployment to our teams around the world and will receive a fantastic range of benefits including 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), life assurance, enhanced pension contributions, cycle to work scheme and shopping discounts.As a Logistics Coordinator at SPS, your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating shipments.
  • Completing customs paperwork and supporting documentation.
  • Reconciliation of costs and purchase orders.
  • Arranging couriers.
  • Ensuring equipment is tested and certified.
  • Maintaining stock levels.
  • Tracking inventory.
  • Picking and packing shipments which will involve heavy lifting and the use of a forklift.
    • At SPS, we are looking for a Logistics Coordinator who has the following skills and experiences:
  • Experience in international logistics.
  • Fully competent in Microsoft Office software.
  • Ideally forklift training or the willingness to undertake training.
  • A good communicator and team player, who is willing to take responsibility.
