Job Description

Established for over 30 years, Signwaves is the UKs largest designer and manufacturer of point of sale signs and displays. Employing more than 70 staff at our Great Yarmouth factory, we lead the market with innovative point of sale products used to advertise BIG brands.Signwaves is dedicated to developing the best team with a great working environment, strong support and opportunities to help shape our future.We are currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic and creative Artworker to work within a small and close knit team, in support of our print production facility.About the role:

  • Typesetting artwork for printing onto a wide range of products, from customer supplied files and image
  • Occasionally engaging directly with customers to confirm artwork and develop creative designs.
  • Working in liaison with the production team to ensure jobs are delivered on time.
  • Communicating with departments and individuals to create the best possible outcome to a problem.
  • Understanding measurements, scales, DPI and digital prepress.
  • Occasionally re-organising and juggling highly active lists of jobs with changing statuses.
About you, we would like you to:
  • Be hard working and used to managing tight deadlines.
  • Have a working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Have proof reading skills andgood attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
  • Be well organised, confident and receptive to constructive feedback
  • Show creative flair - Although this position isnt a full graphic design role, creative vision will be required when coming up with customer design ideas and engaging with the internal team on marketing projects.
  • Have a desire to continue to learn new skills.
This role will suit a Junior Graphic Designer/Artworker with some industry experience who is keen to pursue a career in graphic design.Experience in a similar Artworker / Graphic Design role is desirable.
