You will have completed an apprenticeship,NVQ Level 2 and have a relevant ONC/BTECYoull need a flexible approach to working hours as you will be required to take part in a standby rota once trained and deemed competent. To be able to undertake your standby duties you will need to live within the surrounding/neighbouring areas.As well as carrying out planned & reactive maintenance on our mechanical assets (e.g. pumps, motors, pipework and chemical dosing systems, etc), the successful candidate will also work on water quality instrumentation & control systems, carrying out servicing& calibrations. Youll also work towards a Licence to Operate (LTO) qualification to enable you to manage and control different complex water treatment works across the patch.As a valued employee, youll be entitled to:
