Permanent, 37 hours per week Personal private health careVirtual GP service for you and your householdCompetitive pension scheme - We double-match your contributions up to 6%:12% ratioYou will be working within the Anglian Water region covering areas around Grantham, Bourne, Stamford and Sleaford.Are you looking for an exciting and rewarding career, at a company committed to investing in your training and development Join us for the opportunity to gain valuable skills, qualifications, and experience, whilst being part of a company dedicated to building a sustainable future.This team-oriented position will see you joining one of our Water Supply Teams where you will ensure that the water supply process delivers wholesome drinking water to our customers.Youll be responsible for the keeping all kinds of equipment at out Water Treatment Works operating correctly and reliably, youll be enthusiastic about carrying out planned maintenance and responding promptly to issues and incidents.Your mechanical knowledge will enable you to be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of water supply assets including equipment installed at water treatment works, reservoirs, towers and pumping stations across the operational patch.What does it take to be a Mechanical Asset TechnicianYour ability to learn quickly and use your own initiative to solve problems is essential for this role and you will train alongside an experienced Technician to ensure you gain all the skills and knowledge required. You will have completed an apprenticeship,NVQ Level 2 and have a relevant ONC/BTECYoull need a flexible approach to working hours as you will be required to take part in a standby rota once trained and deemed competent. To be able to undertake your standby duties you will need to live within the surrounding/neighbouring areas.As well as carrying out planned & reactive maintenance on our mechanical assets (e.g. pumps, motors, pipework and chemical dosing systems, etc), the successful candidate will also work on water quality instrumentation & control systems, carrying out servicing& calibrations. Youll also work towards a Licence to Operate (LTO) qualification to enable you to manage and control different complex water treatment works across the patch.As a valued employee, youll be entitled to:
