Job Description

  • You will be responsible for planning and carrying out administrative tasks within the warehouse, ensuring collaboration with Customer Service team, Commercial Team and wider Supply Chain, achieving OTIF despatches of sales orders and samples requests.
  • Processing of Bonded goods movements and export entries on customs related website.

Description
  • Ownership and timely completion of Sales Orders and Sample Sales Orders, processing despatch documentation whilst adhering to HMRC regulations and department SOPs.
  • Coordinating transporting contractors on site for inbound and outbound activity.
  • Processing of Bonded goods movements and export entries on customs related website.
  • Continually develop knowledge of export, customs and market legislation to facilitate effective processing of goods to required markets.
  • Collaborate and communicate with 3rd Party Logistics, 3rd Party Production and Storage external functions.
  • Continuously support process improvement initiatives within department.
Profile
  • Previous experience working in a Supply Chain / Logistics role within an FMCG environment.
  • Experience using HMRC systems and knowledge of Export / Import documentation.
  • Understanding of UK warehousing, logistics and transport best practice processes, systems and ways of working.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP system.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage time effectively.
