Job Description

Do you want to work nights OR day shift with every weekend off We are currently recruiting forTimber/ Wood Machiniststo join the largest supplier and distributor of timber and panel products in the UK, working either:

  • Rotatingday shift (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)OR
  • Night shift(Mon 9pm-6am, Tuesday-Thursday 8pm-6am)
  • PLUS, regular overtime opportunities,30 days annual leave AND excellent company benefits (including retail vouchers, health plan and salary sacrifice).

    • This is a full time, permanent role paying £20-25,000 per annum (£11.50ph) plus overtime at an enhanced rate.As a Wood Machinist, you will be reporting to the Production Manager and working as part of the mill team, contributing daily inmaintaining quality in a safe working environment. You will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery for sawing and moulding timber/ timber products.I would love to speak to anyone with experience as a Wood Machinist or experience from a similar role within the timber industry where you have used aband re-saw, rip saw, crosscut saw, moulding and grinding machines.Suitable qualifications: City & Guilds or Scotvec or equivalent in Wood Machining, Wood Working, Carpentry or Joinery.Roles to suit:Wood Machinist, Timber Machinist, Production Operative, Production Operator, Skilled Operator, Semi-Skilled Operator, CNC Machinist, Machinist, SawyerCommutable from: Grangemouth, Polmont, Falkirk, Laurieston, Camelon, Larbert, Maddiston, Brightons, Stirling
