Job Description

FINTEC recruit has a requirement for a Technical Drawing Data Loader for engineering client based in Grangemouth. This is a temporary role with expectation of 12 months work, possibly longer. Flexible working options of hybrid/office based,Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, 40 hours per week, You will be managing technical, inspection and maintenance data in the Oil & Gas and chemical production sectors. This role is available for an immediate start.Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and constructing information extracted from CAD engineering drawings and piping isometric drawings.
  • Cataloguing documents an attachments data for mass uploading.
  • Entering inspection and testing data.
  • Recording anomalies that arise during inspections/testing, as well as recommendations made by plant personnel.
  • Tagging Point Cloud Data, Process & Instrumentation Diagram, Local Maps, and Geo-referenced Maps with asset locations.
Essential skills and experience required for the Technical Drawing Data loader role:
  • College or University education in scientific-technical field.
  • Able to read engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency with IT systems.
  • Excellent English speaking and technical writing - other languages may be an asset.
  • Strong organisation and data management skills with excellent attention to detail.
