Job Description

Job Title: Tank Co-ordinator (1 year fixed term contract)Location: GrangemouthSalary: up to £23,400 per annumHours: 40 hours a week - Monday to FridayOur client, a long term investor and manager of businesses focussed on opportunities in logistics, distribution and aquaculture. The company employs over 6000 people worldwide, operating across 30 countries. Their portfolio consists of bulk-liquid and chemicallogistics business - Tank Containers, Terminals and Tankers. Due to an increase in the workload, our client is looking to recruit a Tank Co-ordinator to work on a 1 year fixed contract, with the possibility of this being extended for the right person.Job PurposeYou will be responsible for accepting and administrating products that are offered for cleaning, heating, repair and storage.Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • You will be responsible for accepting and administering Tank Containers and Tank Trailers according to established procedures and work instructions.
  • You will be the central point of contact for customers (carriers/tank operators) and employees for planning and status of depot services.
  • You will process tank container statuses in Depot Software (Conterm)
  • You will report malfunctions, deviations and damages to building/equipment to Depot Manager
  • You will support and contribute to secure safety policy of Tankwash by reporting of near-misses, defects and unsafe situations to Depot Manager.
Qualifications / Experience / Training
  • Experience in administration
  • Knowledge of common Microsoft software
  • Knowledge of logistics customs activities and rules
  • Experience with IT systems is desirable
  • Valid driving license
  • Thorough knowledge of internal work and safety procedures from the Quality Management System.
