Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and talented Site Operations Manager to join our team at International Timber in Grangemouth. This is a major site for manufacture and supply of timber to the rest of our sites. The purpose of the role is to maximise profitability by leading a customer service focussed team and driving operationalexcellence throughout the organisation.As Site Operations Manager you will be responsible for leading, managing, and developing a large team of around 100 people including 8 direct reports. The main aspects of the role will involve reviewing and addressing health and safety performanceinitiatives, driving operational excellence by managing KPIs, coordinating activities to reduce cost and maximise profitability while putting the customer at the heart of everything we do.   • Lead the EHS and quality policies across site.
  • Manage day to day running of the site as well as working towards long term strategic objectives in line with Saint-Gobains vision of "Making the World a Better Home".
  • Coordinate activities to reduce costs and maximise profit.
  • Drive operational excellence through management of KPIs and empower the team to take initiatives
  • Drive cultural change to put the customer at the heart of everything.
  • Support and drive diversity and inclusion onsite.
  • Address poor performance and non-conformances impacting customer base.
  • Ensuring all plant efficiencies, productivity, and stock management targets are achieved.
Experience required:
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to lead, manage, and develop the team so they can reach their full potential.
  • Proven experience in Site Management or Operations in Manufacturing (3-5 years).
  • Working knowledge of EHS legislation and quality management systems
  • Budget and financial management.
  • Customer service oriented mind-set
  • Excellent presentation skills - ability to present effectively to senior management.
Qualification (desirable): Manufacturing and operational qualifications, such as WCM, Lean, 6Sigma. Practical and Technical EHS qualifications such as IOSH or NEBOSH. Educated to degree level, preferably in an Engineering discipline.Benefits
