Job Description

Job Title: Office Manager (1-year fixed term contract)Location: GrangemouthSalary: CompetitiveHours: 40 hours a week - Monday to FridayOur client, a long term investor and manager of businesses focussed on opportunities in logistics, distribution and aquaculture. The company employs over 6000 people worldwide, operating across 30 countries. Their portfolio consists of bulk-liquid and chemicallogistics business - Tank Containers, Terminals and Tankers. Due to an increase in the workload, our client is looking to recruit an Office Manager to work on a 1 year fixed contract, with the possibility of this being extended for the right person.Job PurposeYou will be responsible for managing the administrative and financial processes, within the organisation at Grangemouth, as well as the employees situated here.Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Managing administrative processes regarding cleaning, heating, depot, repair and procurement
  • Leading a team of administrative staff and drivers
  • Responsible for complying with all statutory guidelines and procedures
  • Maintaining and developing operational software for administrative and financial processes
  • Responsible for financial processes and management reports
Qualifications / Experience / Training
  • Experience in administration, preferably within financial administration
  • Experience of managing / supervising a team
  • Knowledge of common Microsoft software
  • Knowledge of logistics customs activities and rules
  • Experience with IT systems is desirable
  • Valid driving license
  • Thorough knowledge of internal work and safety procedures from the Quality Management System.
