Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced LGV Level 2 Refuse Collection Driver to join our client on a temporary basis. This position is available immediately and will run until the 28th of July, with the possibility of extension.

  • LGV Level 2 Refuse Collection Driver
  • Start Date: ASAP - Until 28th July (Possible extension)
  • Location: Grangemouth
  • Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 6:30 am to 3:30 pm, Friday: 6:30 am to 3:00 pm
  • Pay: £12.59p/h
Key Requirements:
  • LGV Class 1 or 2 License
  • Full CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
  • Digital Drivers Card
  • Current LGV Medical Certificate
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate LGV Level 2 vehicles to collect refuse from designated locations.
  • Follow pre-planned routes and schedules to ensure timely collection.
  • Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and procedures.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or issues.
  • Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of refuse containers.
  • Interact professionally with clients and members of the public.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork as required.
Qualifications and Experience:To be considered for this role, you must possess an LGV Class 1 or 2 license, have a valid CPC certification, a Digital Drivers Card, and a current LGV medical certificate. Previous experience in refuse collection or a similar role would be advantageous.Please submit your CV below!
