We are looking for someone who is ambitious and loves the techy side of being a technologist but also someone who will ensure that the customer experience is always at the heart of it.Day to day you’ll…We are in the process of implementing a Tribe and Squad model and you will take a lead role in helping to shape this and also operate within in of the Tribes delivering work in Sprints.You will contribute to standard Agile planning ceremonies (sprint planning, sprint retrospective) as well as Daily Stand Ups. You will support the Scrum Master and Product Owner in managing the Product Backlog and ensuring that key metrics such as time remaining and velocity are understood and followed by the team. Alongside the team you will develop and test software for one of our key digital channels. Any experience of being a Chapter Lead would be hugely beneficial.We are looking for people who can not only help us continue to disrupt the banking sector but also ensure we deliver ground breaking experiences for our customer and support us becoming better at what we do!If you have a commitment to empowering teams to work in a collaborative way adopting automation and Agile methodologies then you will fit right in. We are looking for people who can not only help us continue to disrupt the banking sector but also how we become better at what we do!To be successful you’ll need to bring:If you are like us you are probably a multi technologist, with a strong background in the technical design and implementation of digital channels for blue chip organisations. We have a technology mix with Java at the core and a healthy mix across integration (ESB / IIB), database (Oracle), application server (JBoss, Weblogic), front end (React, Angular JS) and containerisation technologies (Docker / Kubernetes). You’ll be comfortable with navigating this mix to help us shape our technology approach and delivery.Continuous delivery and DevOps are a fundamental part of our approach.
