General OperativeLocation: Gosfield, near BraintreeSalary: Competitive salary & benefits package depending on experience.Job Type: Permanent full timeImmediate StartGeneral Operative required to join a well-established fabrication company in Essex.About the General Operative role:

Assisting with all fabrication needs entailing the use of the following machinery: Saws, Drills, Lathe, Brake Press, Guillotine.

Picking kits ready for delivery.

Work as part of team to achieve and maintain excellent quality.

Maintain a safe and tidy workshop and surrounding area.

Adhere to health and safety policies.

Requirements of the General Operative role:

Ability to be flexible and work well under pressure

A good understanding of processes and procedures

Work independently and as part of a team

Good timekeeping

Must be able physically fit and able to lift metal components

Live in/within a commutable distance of Gosfield

Desirable

Counterbalance forklift licence

Gantry crane licence
