Trainee Advanced Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP)- Band 6 - working towards a Band 7 Qualified ANPAn opportunity has arisen within the Emergency Department of the James Paget University Hospital to join the Nurse Practitioner Team.You will be trained to manage the complete clinical care of patients with minor illnesses and injuries, with the support of our multidisciplinary team. This role will also provide a development opportunity to enrol on further clinically appropriate training related to the needs of the service.The ENP role involves the authority to refer, admit and discharge within the clinical setting of minor illness/injuries equipped to manage patients who present with unscheduled care, examine, diagnose, treat, refer and discharge appropriately and safely.Our ENP Team will support trainees and provide knowledge based experience to ensure gold standard quality patient care.Trainees are expected to complete competencies with the guidance of the ENP team and demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional development.
