Job Description

Howdens are looking for a Junior SAP Analyst to join our Transport Management Supply Systems Team based in our office in Howden, Goole in East Yorkshire.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a knowledge of IT applications and relevant IT experience that is looking to develop their career further. As a Junior SAP Analyst, you will be trained on how to configure and manage our transport managementsystems and to implement business processes and changes to support the transport operation.What will I be doing as a Junior SAP Analyst

  • Play a role in business process design to ensure that there are robust solutions and improved systems in place for the business
  • Resolving day to day production issues and implementing system changes
  • Developing and implementing new functionality in SAP TM and other transport systems
  • Day-to-day production issues include general troubleshooting and support of core SAP processes including PI interfacing and idocs
  • Change requests for issues that have limited scope
  • Knowledge transfer to end users.
  • Configuration of self-contained pieces of work which are defined by a design spec to fulfil business needs
  • Working with the business to help establish issues and design a solution
What do I need to qualify for this Junior Analyst role
  • Knowledge of IT applications and a natural technical aptitude
  • Strong communication skills and able to work well as part of a team
  • Interest in learning more about technology and progressing your career within a SAP Transport Management technical team
  • Experience of working in a trade or manufacturing organisation would be an advantage
