Job Description

GATEMAN / TRAFFIC MARSHALL - EXCELLENT BENEFIT PACKAGE!TEKFLOOR is a family run company based in Goldthorpe, Rotherham. Operating nationwide we are one of the largest independent distributors of building materials in the UK and known for our excellent customer service.We are looking for a gateman / traffic Marshall with experience in directing HGV, visitors and contractors who are willing to work in a small but friendly team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for job satisfaction and a good team environment.Female candidates are also very much welcomedPurpose of the Job:To keep the site entrance area manned. You will direct staff, visitors, contractors and deliveries to the correct parts of the site and carry out any specific tasks when requested.Requirements for the role:

  • Be comfortable with working outside in variable weather conditions
  • Be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
  • Calm, organised and like working with people
  • Have a great attitude and strong work ethic
Working hours and days:Monday - Friday: from 6am to 4pm with 1-hour unpaid break.Responsibilities and Tasks:Front of house security gateman plays a key role in directing staff, visitors, and contractors through our site. As the first point of contact, you will represent the company. Presentation is important, to portray a corporate look and deal with all staff,visitors, and deliveries in a courteous and professional manner.As well as the ability to meet and greet customers, staff, visitors, delivery drivers and contractors the role requires an in-depth knowledge of health and safety procedures and what is required to maintain a secure environment politely and professionally.
  • Making staff, visitors, contractors, and deliveries feel welcome
  • Booking client, visitors, and deliveries in and out of the site
  • Banksman experience useful but not essential
