Job Description

  • 4 on, 4 off
  • Permanent days and permanent nights both available
ROLE
  • To support/carry out monthly traceability audits to verify claims.
  • Product labelling
  • To ensure audits are carried out against schedule.
  • Glass & Perspex
  • Structural (Fabrication)
  • Label/packaging verification
  • Process & Line Audits (Gas Analysis, Metal Detection, Weight Verification, Traceability)
  • Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Check weighers
  • Temperature probes
  • Fridge/Freezer/Cabinets
  • To ensure Check the Checker product audits are carried out on a daily basis and all information relating to them are relayed back to the appropriate department.
  • To conduct product assessment on returned products.
  • To conduct organoleptic sampling against schedule.
  • To ensure all paperwork is completed and filed/archived.
  • To ensure all non-compliances raised are followed up to completion.
  • To provide technical support to all departments.
  • To liaise/communicate with colleagues and departments.
  • When checking products into stock, visually check the condition and ensure it is clean, debris and contamination free and of good quality for transporting raw materials.
  • Report any non-conformance of date, quality or quantity of products to your Line Leader / Supervisor.
  • Ensure all quarantine or rejected pallets are recorded / reported and identified and labelled correctly, whilst guaranteeing the product is stored in the correct area.
  • When visually, ensure you are fully aware of the standards required and presentation specifications.
  • When carrying out scheduled performance checks ensure they are within the set tolerances, record and report all non-compliances.
  • To practice excellent health and safety, and report any discrepancies to your Line Leader / Supervisor
  • To perform any other tasks and duties as requested by your Manager
  • Willingness and flexibility to perform other tasks and duties that are not usually performed day to day, required for business reasons
  • Consider working reasonable overtime as requested by your Manager.
  • Attend training courses that are relevant and appropriate to your tasks and duties, as requested by your Manager
CANDIDATEYou will have good attention to detail and strong communication skills.
