Part of a team who delivers a bespoke pet matching and rehoming service that is personalised, professional and supportive.This role will play a key part in bringing and keeping pets and people together and in helping to build lasting relationships with our customers. You will create strong, lasting relationships with clients seeking pets and pet advice and utilise your experienceof matching pets to guide clients to a responsible and appropriate point of acquisition.As part of this team you will provide the highest levels of customer service via face-to-face, digital and written communications and will develop the customer journey through assessing and responding to the needs of our pets and clients in order to providerelevant advice, support and guidance.The successful candidate will have a positive approach and encourage a culture of delivering flexible, adaptable and supportive services, all with the interest of understanding, building and fostering long-term relationships with our clients. To be successfulyou will have;- Substantial experience of working in a customer facing role and delivering high levels of customer service.- Developed IT skills including confidence in the use of Microsoft packages and databases- Developed negotiation skills to guide the decision making of customers towards appropriate pet choiceAn understanding of current animal welfare issues and multi-species needs would also be desirable.This is a full time position, working 37.5 hours per week and will involve a working pattern of every other weekend.The starting salary for this role is £18,682 - £20,289 depending on experience.This vacancy may close earlier should we receive high volumes of applications.
