Job Description

To achieve this, we not only provide care for pets in need, but also help people be the best pet owners they can be.Woodgreen Pets Charity are looking for a Digital Projects Manager to join the Digital Marketing team to undertake projects arising out of the new Pet Services strategy.Working with and supported by the Head of Digital Transformation, this role will contribute to the improved welfare of pets across society, using digital services to reach and engage with a national audience.Its an exciting time to be joining Woodgreen having just rebranded and with the launch of the Pet Services strategy; there is a real appetite for strong digital capabilities to enhance and supplement our existing services, as well as exploring and buildingnew ones.As Digital Projects Manager you will be responsible for managing the digital projects arising out of the Pet Services strategy, and supporting the wider marketing and pet services teams with business as usual digital projects. You will also work with thewider organisation to act as lead for marketing and pet services in managing the ongoing development and maintenance of the digital infrastructure that includes main website, microsites, apps, SEO, etc, ensuring content and user journeys are optimised, andworking closely with external vendors on managing and prioritising the website backlog.In addition, you will:- Be a website CMS super user- Assist with digital reporting- Use data and insights to set KPIs for your projects, refining and optimising in an iterative way- Identify user testing opportunitiesTo be considered as the Digital Projects Manager, you will need:- Experience of project management, campaign management and/or product and service development- The ability to self-organise and manage multiple projects at any given time- Practical experience of planning projects; their timelines, dependencies etc- Experience using web content management systems, or an appetite to learn- Experience using web analytics dashboards, or an appetite to learn- A strong desire to apply insights to service and product development- Confidence in your ability to influence and persuade- A can-do attitude- To go beyond the pet/charity sector to seek out new ideas and stay abreast of changing technologiesThis is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week, mostly from home but on-site in Godmanchester when necessary.The starting salary for this position is £25,323 - £28,137 depending on experience.This vacancy may close earlier should we receive high volumes of applications.
