CNC Setter/OperatorPermanent£25,000 to £35,000GloucesterWe are looking for a CNC Setter/Operator for our very well established, successful client in Gloucester. To undertake the setting and operating of CNC machine tools to produce components to the required quality standards and in accordance with required workschedules.Responsibilities - To set and operate Various CNC Machining Centres.- Produce small to medium sized batches.- Occasionally operation of CNC Lathes and conventional machines.- Assist with continuous improvements and to maintain high efficiency.- Assist with the upkeep of tooling.Requirements- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering machine shop.- Capable of working to engineering drawings in both metric and imperial units.- Capable of producing components to tight tolerances and high quality standards.- Capable of self-inspecting.- Knowledge of CNC control systems, preferable FANUC and/or Pro-track (XYZ) although training will be provided.- Ability to work with the existing small friendly team of employees.Benefits- Morning Shifts, Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30, Friday early finish 08:00 - 12:00- Minimum of 25 days Annual Holidays plus ALL UK Bank Holidays increasing to 30 days with service.- Life Assurance Policy during the Term of Employment.
