Job Description

A successful moulding company that is part of a global organisation, is currently seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Process Engineer to carry out process and tooling trials. Supporting and training production personnel on the handover of new processes, this role will ensure capability for new processes and tooling are in line with feasibility specifications. The company supports many key sectors with premium thermoplastic components ranging from one-off parts to full assemblies.As Process Engineer your duties will include -

  • Carrying out process trials for existing and new tooling, and for inherited projects and tooling
  • Training production personnel on new tools/processes
  • Continuous Improvement - cycle times, scrap, and automaton
  • Ensuring that all actions are carried out in accordance with company quality procedures ISO9001, TS16949 and ISO14001
    • To be successful in the role of Process Engineer the ideal candidate will -
  • Have significant experience within Injection Moulding.
  • Have experience with NPI / Tool Trialling.
  • Be experienced in trouble-shooting and process optimisation.
  • Possess the ability to organise and plan multiple tasks simultaneously, think clearly and logically under pressure and be a respected team member.
  • You will likely hold the job title of Process Engineer, Moulding Engineer, or Injection Moulding Technician

  • Salary of £35-40k, 4% pension, 4x death in service
  • Hours of Work -39 hours p/w: 0830 - 1700 (M-T) 0830 - 1600 (F)
