We are looking for Bench Joiners, Workshop and Assembly Operatives to join our team making and assembling high quality contemporary wooden beds. Work will involve cutting, sanding, gluing, staining, and spraying timber components, and, crucially, assembly of the finished product.From our units in Glen Parva, Leicester we ship beds worldwide.The role is available for an immediate start and you will be required to work at least 35 hours per week. The working hours are: 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday (with some alternative shifts running into the evening as required and longer shifts when demand is high).Duties and responsibilities:- The manufacture of wooden beds to required specifications.- Assembling, wrapping and dispatching wooden beds - operatives will prepare and wrap products to a high specification and quality finish.Skills and experience:Experience in a factory or workshop and/or woodworking environment is beneficial but not necessary as full training will be given.
