Job Description

We are searching for a motivated Wind Turbine Technician to join a fast-paced Wind Power Service and Operations team based in Scotland.This is a brilliant opportunity for a Wind Turbine Technician to join a leading international renewable energy organisation.Job: Wind Turbine Technician Salary: £DOEType: Permanent Location: Scotland Wind Turbine Technician Responsibilities:

  • Undertake routine preventive maintenance and servicing according to schedule
  • Perform troubleshooting, fault-finding and repair on turbine systems, covering mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components
  • Proactively replace and repair components to prevent systems downtime or failure to ensure optimal turbine functionality
  • Respond promptly to out of hours and weekend turbine breakdowns
  • Uphold compliance with health and safety regulations, including adherence to WTSR
  • Collaborate and assist the Technical Manager to develop solutions and improvements
Wind Turbine Technician Requirements:
  • Experienced Service Engineer with a background in Gamesa G8X turbines
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and fault-finding
  • Strong computer skills including word processing, email, management and reporting systems, including the use of diagnostic and troubleshooting tools
  • Flexibility to work overtime on weekends, bank holidays and at short notice
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call schedule
  • UK Driving Licence and an acceptable driving record
