You will support effective clinical care by providing an efficient Health Records service to patients, medical and nursing staff. Ensure patient appointments for clinics, and patients presenting for admission are administered and processed accurately and that patients health records remain confidential, are securely stored and are available as and when necessary. You will provide a receptionist role based at ward level and the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team is essential. A background in providing front-line services in a public sector or health-care setting is likely to be an advantage. It is essential that you have 3 standard grades or equivalent and 1 must be English. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and have previous experience of working in a busy reception area, along with good computing skills and a high standard of customer care skills. The shift pattern for this post is 8.30am – 1.00pm Monday to Friday.
