As they embark onthis exciting journey, they are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the whole operations at our new facility.Senior Electrical Engineer – The Role:As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing the electrical infrastructure of our new site. You will oversee both low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) systems, ensuring their optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidatewill have prior experience as a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) and possess deep expertise in electrical engineering principles.Senior Electrical Engineer – Key Responsibilities:- Manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of LV and HV electrical systems- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety requirements- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure reliability- Lead a team of electrical technicians, providing guidance and support to optimize their performance- Collaborate with other departments to support production goals and continuous improvement initiatives- Serve as the primary point of contact for electrical issues, troubleshooting problems and implementing effective solutions- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with best practicesSenior Electrical Engineer - Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.- Strong understanding of LV and HV electrical systems, including transformers, switchgear, and distribution panels.- Certification as a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) is highly desirable.- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.- Strong leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing teams.- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Senior Electrical Engineer - Benefits:- Competitive salary of approximately £60,000 per annum.- Comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, pension, and bonus opportunities.- Flexible working arrangements to promote work-life balance.- Opportunity to be part of a dynamic and innovative team at the forefront of manufacturing excellence.If you are a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer looking for a new challenge, we invite you to join us on this exciting journey.
