Job Description

UI DeveloperGlasgow - HybridSalary - £40-60,000 P/AUser interface is at the forefront of any business, it represents us and the way in which we choose to operate. Come and be a part of a innovative global banking corporation and lead the way to supplying a great customer experience.The Vacancy Actively being a key member within one of the agile feature teams* Taking business and functional requirements and translating them into technical, functional and user interface designs* Producing and maintaining readable, well-documented code, along with accompanying automated test coverage * Unit and integration testing of code and providing support to testing cycles ensuring that defects are resolved* Contributing towards best practice across all the feature teams* Partaking in all aspects of an iterative Agile development lifecycleWhat We Need From You

  • Extensive hands-on experience designing and building Single Page Applications, using AngularJS or ReactJS* Experience with Bootstrap, Materialize or Responsive Web Design* Proven ability to design and develop enterprise solutions using tools and techniques such as GIT, TDD/BDD, Jasmine, JEST, Karma, automated CI/CD* Experience of consuming REST APIs* Java programming experience, while not essential, would be an advantage
Key/Essential Skills for this role:
  • Extensive hands-on experience designing and building Single Page Applications, using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and Type Script
  • Experience with Bootstrap, Materialize or Responsive Web Design
  • Proven ability to design and develop enterprise solutions using tools and techniques such as GIT, TDD/BDD, Jasmine, JEST, Karma, automated CI/CD, and strong software engineering principles and design patterns
